Is there a difference between ';clear nail polish'; and ';clear nail protector';? If so, what is it?

I wanted clear nail polish, and I didn't want to spend that much money. I bought a bottle of ';clear nail protector'; for a dollar. I don't know how much I like it on its own...





I guess another question I have is do people use just plain clear nail polish on their fingernails?





I'm not good at painting my nails, so that's why I wanted something clear - so if I made a mistake it wouldn't show... :-)

well, i think that there is not difference that you can see, but clear nail protector is supposed to protect your nails, while clear nail polish is just..well, polish! =]
