Will my heat protector still work if... (read details) and a question about Clean & Clear Morning Burst?

Will my heat protector still work if I put it on the night before, blow-dry, then straighten in the morning? My high school starts early, so I want to save some time in the morning by showering the night before and doing everything but straighten my hair. I'm not going to straighten the night before because my hair will get messed up again when I go to bed anyways. But I don't know if the heat protector would still work if I waited until the morning to straighten. What do you think?

Also, does the Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser remove makeup? Like foundation and blush? (No eye makeup probably.)Will my heat protector still work if... (read details) and a question about Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst?
I'm not sure about the first one.

But for the Clean and Clear I use it and I think it does. I ran out of baby wipes so I just wash my face with water first so like my mascara runs and stuff then use Clean and Clear. It takes it off. Will my heat protector still work if... (read details) and a question about Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst?
no, it should only take like 2 extra seconds of your time you just spray it on while your Straightener id heating up, also yes morning burst should take your make up off but you shouldn't sleep in makeup cause its bad for you.

  • Are those clear iPod protectors worth the expense?

I don't personally think so; I knitted an iPod sock for my sister to keep hers in! It's way cheaper, and it protects probably better as if she drops it it bounces. Are those clear iPod protectors worth the expense?
It depends on how clumsy you are. If you throw your iPod into a knapsack and drop 40 lbs of books on top of them, they're well worth the money. Are those clear iPod protectors worth the expense?
I have a hard clear protector for my Nano which is excellent, as it keeps it from getting scratches. I also have an iSkin for my video iPod which works really well, because while most of it is soft, the part covering the screen is hard plastic so it also protects it nicely. Both are definitely worth the expense.
    yes they are super hard
i got one from ebay that is like a sticker sorta. u place it on the ipod and it prevent scratches from ruining ur ipod. lthey are soo cheap.
I have an iskin evo3 protector for mine, and I think it's absolutely worth it. I'm a klutz, so I put it on the very first day I had my ipod. I've dropped it several times with no ill effects. It also keeps it cleaner, and scratch free.
yes! i just got a pink one and everytime i drop it it turns out fine! it is not a waste of money (they are pretty cheap!) and of very good use!

Is there a difference between ';clear nail polish'; and ';clear nail protector';? If so, what is it?

I wanted clear nail polish, and I didn't want to spend that much money. I bought a bottle of ';clear nail protector'; for a dollar. I don't know how much I like it on its own...

I guess another question I have is do people use just plain clear nail polish on their fingernails?

I'm not good at painting my nails, so that's why I wanted something clear - so if I made a mistake it wouldn't show... :-)

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)Is there a difference between ';clear nail polish'; and ';clear nail protector';? If so, what is it?

well, i think that there is not difference that you can see, but clear nail protector is supposed to protect your nails, while clear nail polish is just..well, polish! =]

  • Clear hood protector?

    Hey guys,

i just bought a new car, and have few questions. i like to take care of my stuff and thats why i want to install the clear brar that protects the hood. I called this shop where i got my windows tints from on my last car and they don't install 3m hood protector but the one they install is a different stuff which is still clear and comes ith lifetime warranty. Cost of that is $200. I know 3m is more pricy and the shop could install that one if i want but will be more money. (not sure how much.)

do you think that i should just install the product the shop recommended? it does comes with lifetime warranty.

Also, do you think it's a good idea to apply wax/sealant etc before installing the clear brar on the hood? I want to get the hood thing done asap cuz i go on the highway a lot but the weather here sux in toronto and i'm not sure if i should get the car wax before installing the hood protector.

    thanksClear hood protector?
Get the 3M hood protector. You can trust that this will work for the long haul, someone elses stuff, who knows. The shop pushes the alternate because they make more money from it, not ebcause it is a better material.

The alternate protector might have a warranty, but good luck getting it enforced in 5-10 years and gettign your hood repainted to match when its needed. At lest with 3M, you know what your getting.

Your protecting a $30,000 investment, $50 or so is nothing for quality and longevity.

I have that stuff on my classic '71 Riviera and I like it a lot. I noticed my 2000 4runner has it stock on the rear door infront of the wheel well and it is holding up fine.

Clear Full Body Protector for Samsung Impression?

I saw an ad on ebay for a full body protector for a samsung impression. I want to know if the product leaves alot of air bubble. • UV(0) FILTER or CLEAR PROTECTOR? for Nikon 18-200mm lens?

I need some help in deciding which one to buy.

I know the difference. But I need to know ...your opinion in which one you would invest and why?

UV(0) FILTER often works as a lens protector as well...but what would happen for night photography? Would it be better to have a CLEAR PROTECTOR then?

I am not a pro photographer but like to make wise choices when spending money. My main purpose is to protect the lens....however, if UV(0) will have minor changes to the photos captured (even at night)...I wouldn't want to go with just CLEAR PROTECTOR.

Also, which model of HOYA (green, purple, gray, blue, black) would you buy...if you were not so much of a pro photographer and would think about being economical?UV(0) FILTER or CLEAR PROTECTOR? for Nikon 18-200mm lens?
It only matters if you also have a 35 mm SLR and use the same lenses on it.

If they cost the same, then go with the UV ... if you use the lens on a 35 mm camera body (yes I know there is vignetting, but some artists like that ... one more tool) then you will want to buy a skylight filter ... the best for colour film.UV(0) FILTER or CLEAR PROTECTOR? for Nikon 18-200mm lens?
UV is not really a worry at night. I have several Nikons but On my FM3A W/ 28 -135mm zoom I have a UV filter on that I never remove... I do day, night and everything in between. On my Digital Nikons I use 2 UV's one for a filter and one for a lens cap. The filters are cheap have better dust resistantance than a clip on plastic lens cap.
I'm in the school of ';no filters'; unless you absolutely have a specific reason to use one.

If you want to protect the lens, I suggest using the lens hood and a lens cap (I like center-pinch lens caps, which allow me to remove the lens cap when needed, even with a hood on).

Don't just take my word for it; read this enlightening essay by photographer Thom Hogan:

    http://www.bythom.com/filters.htm

Especially with night photography, I wouldn't use any filters at all, unless I was in an area with blowing debris during the photo or unless I wanted a specific effect. The reason I would avoid filters is because of the strong likelihood of flare and unwanted reflections.

Screen Protectors for cell phones (InvisibleSHIELD or Clear Protector)?

I just purchased a Mototrola Krave ZN4 and I'm trying to decide on a full body cover for it because of all of the clear surfaces it has. I have been looking at the ZAGG InvisibleSHIELDS and at Clear Protector (ebay store). I was wondering if anybody had experience with either of these screen protectors and what your opinion is of their quality and easy of installation. Also will they peel off once the corners get rubbed like the cheap ones I buy at Walmart?

ThanksScreen Protectors for cell phones (InvisibleSHIELD or Clear Protector)?
You can easily buy the clear sticker protectors from the carts at the mall, or at your phone companies store. They sell them and they'll even put them on for you if you ask :D

I have one on my phone because its touch screen on the front and it's like this really thin clear, sticker that they put on the the touch screen so it prevents any damages.

Would putting a clear/film type screen protector on my Samsung Instinct m800 affect the touchscreen at all?

It depends on the protector itself, but generally, no, you shouldn't notice much difference, if any at all.

    IPod Clear Scratch Protector?

I've seen these clear sheets that are supposed to stick to your iPod and protect it from scratches without using a case. Does anyone know if these work, if they come off easily, or what it makes the iPod feel and look like?IPod Clear Scratch Protector?
Depends on what kind you want. They have ones that just go on the screen or on the click wheel. They are rather cheap and often come with mulitpul ones so you can change them out every know and then. There's a company that sells ';invisible'; shields for almost every electronic device including IPOD. that one covers the ENTIRE IPOD unlike the other ones. You can't every tell there on because they are clear unless you get air bubbles in it. If you get the one that covers the entire ipod it has a nice feel to it, so you have a better grip. That kind of cover was originally used to protect the edges of helicopter blades. I have it on my cell phone and it works really good, one time i ran a key over it to see how well it work, no scratches at all. But the smaller ones work just as well for the screen. If you want the website for the invisible shield, e-mail me and i can rely it to you. Also, in relation to Jess' answer, your not suppose to take it off, you keep it on. And if you put it on right, dust won't get under it. I HIGHLEY recomend you get a full covering clear shield.IPod Clear Scratch Protector?
I had one of those for my PSP, it didn't work to well for it. Dust would get under it, and after taking it off so many times it became useless. I gave up on that with my iPod. I would honestly just stick with the hard clear case, it has worked great.

I mostly use my laptop for home use and sometimes outdoors.

And are Nushield screen protectors any good?Which LCD screen protector is better crystal clear film or antiglare film and why?
Well if you are in a room with windows and there is always a terrible glare, then antiglare is the way to go because it reduces the glare with the picture. If you want a bright, easily visible and clean picture, then use the crystal clear film. I think that crystal clear is the way to go.Which LCD screen protector is better crystal clear film or antiglare film and why?

Does anyone wear a throat protector on your neck? Or just the clear hanging throat protector on your mask?

For goalies?...I just use the clear hanging throat protector..Is it needed to wear both?Does anyone wear a throat protector on your neck? Or just the clear hanging throat protector on your mask?
Go with the hanging protector. I read somewhere that the cotton/kevlar protetctor doesn't give you 100% protection (kind of like Jude's dad's condom....HI-OH!!!) but it is in the high 90s. It has something to do with funny angles. The hanging protector'll give you 100% protection and eliminates the angles. The only thing that I would be concerned about it is if you buy a faulty one, it breaks on impact.Does anyone wear a throat protector on your neck? Or just the clear hanging throat protector on your mask?
I used both at one point and nothing ever happened so i stuck with just the clear protector, works good!
when i do play goal i use the clear hangin one. but sum times i forget it and just go with a str8 goal mask
I don't wear either but every once in a while you get a bomb off the collar bone which hurts for like a day but its not bad. I think the increased freedom in mobility is worth the occasional pain. But if i had to pick one i would definitely use the hanging throat protector
I made my own way back when with a coping saw, my sisters hair dryer, and a scrap piece if 1/8'; plexiglass.
My son wears a throat protector on his neck! It has came in handy at time of the puck being raised! I know alot of the goalies wear them here in our big hockey small town! There is a few goalies that I have notice them wearing the clearing protector that is attached to their goalie helmet! I think that is a good idea to wear the throat protector even if you do not wear the hanging throat protector!
I only use the clear hanging guard. I felt uncomfortable when I tried the throat protector.
clear throat one. the other one irritates my neck and feels weird when i move my head . .
